Term 1 Children's Art Classes
Subject: Learning to Draw and Accidental Art
Available spots
Service Description
For the first half of this term we will focus on the technical skills in drawing scale, perspective, angles and tone followed by Accidental Art in the second half. We don't use pencils or rubbers for the technical drawing. Instead we use coloured crayons which can't be rubbed out. The reason being that drawing is a process. We love our "mistakes". Accidental Art in the second half is completely different where our imagination is stimulated through a process using spilt ink. From this process, our imagination is stimulated by asking 3 questions: What is it? Where is it? and What is it doing? Students love Accidental Art once they have got used to it, and is the perfect balance for the first half of the term. This is a 10 week term. If students are unable to attend a class because of school activities or sickness, makeup classes are available.
